The UCLM offers to take in Ukranian students who wish to begin or continue their university education

Students from Ukraine who have had to drop out from their university education due to the Russian invasion may continue studying at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). The institution has drawn up a form for compiling potential applications, which is also for pre-university students who wish to start their higher education here.

The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) will open its campuses in Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca and Toledo as well as its sites in Talavera de la Reina and Almaden to university students from Ukraine who have been forced to drop out from their academic education due to the war with Russia. This has brought normal everyday activities to a standstill there. The UCLM has drawn up a form on its website to study the individual needs of each student on a case by case basis. It also includes those  pre-university students who wish to start their university education next academic year.

Written in Ukranian, English and Spanish, the questionnaire asks applicants for their  identity and contact information, as well as their nationality, the country their family resides in or the town or city they are currently located in, bearing in mind they may move. In this way, the UCLM has officially created a specific platform for compiling enquiries and help which is already being provided by other channels, from  emails provided by some centres and services to  UCLM profiles on social networks.

This activity lies within a broader programme for support activities for the Ukrainian people which is coordinated by the  Culture, Sports , Social Responsibility and International Vice-chancellor´s offices and whose email is  support.ukraine@uclm.es
