Research plans respond to the need to establish basic and flexible funding mechanisms for projects and research which make a contribution towards increasing excellence and leadership in science and technology, drive business leadership, nurture talent and guide Research, Development and Innovation(R+D+i) towards social challenges.
The centres and research institutes and the university departments by means of their research groups are the potential beneficiaries of this funding on a competitive basis and according to the principles of publicity, objectivity, transparency, equality and non discrimination, which requires the corresponding call to be made as a starting point.
For the University of Castilla-La Mancha, both the internal research plans and the additional calls must comply with the duty of the academic institution to contribute towards broadening knowledge and technological development, innovation and improving the quality of life of citizens as well as economic and social progress and equitative and sustainable responsible development especially in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha.
