Students affected by the first state of alarm decreed in Spain, to cope with the health crisis prompted by COVID-19 in March 2020, will be eligible for an extraordinary extension of 79 calendar days, the period for which statutory terms and deadlines were suspended.

I hereby request an extension of the deadline for the defence of my doctoral thesis in the [DOCTORAL PROGRAMME IN WHICH YOU ARE ENROLLED] doctoral programme of 79 days, corresponding to the period during which statutory terms and deadlines were suspended by the Royal Decree 462/2020, of 14 March, declaring a state of alarm to cope with the health crisis prompted by COVID -19, that was in force between 14 March and 31 May 2020, both inclusive.
