Once the defence act has been completed and the associated documentation has been received at the EID, it will be reviewed and, if necessary, corrective action will be required.
In the case of the award of an EXCELLENT grade, the ballot for the cum laude mention is then counted, the minutes are taken and the result is communicated to the student, his or her supervisors and the campus UGAC.
Once this result has been received, the graduate can go to his or her UGAC office to apply for the degree certificate and transcripts of his or her doctoral studies. For any queries, to inquire about the status of processing, or to pick up the certificate, please contact your UGAC office.
