Between the 10th and 13th of last June, the doctoral students and researchers from the ENERSYS group, Leonel Mario Cerutti Cristaldo and Pedro Domínguez Coy, were in the town of Bled (Slovenia) for the celebration of the 9th European Conference on Thermal Science (Eurotherm 2024), organized by the University of Ljubljana. There they were able to attend numerous presentations and master classes from leading scientists experts in the field of thermodynamics. They also made two oral presentations of their respective works.

Leonel Mario Cerutti Cristaldo showed some results on the durability of the coating proposed by ENERSYS to improve the optical properties of sand particles in thermosolar applications. Pedro Domínguez Coy’s presentation focused on presenting the first results of the preliminary erosion tests in fluidized beds that are being carried out in the laboratory.
