UCLM aims to ensure that the best person for the job is recruited, which brings benefits to researchers, institutions and the research system in general. More specifically, it contributes to making research careers more attractive, to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates and to facilitate mobility.
The past Action Plan (2018) aimed to review selection and recruitment procedures with the objective of improving our alignment with the principles of the Charter and the Code. Those first efforts focused on UCLM pre-doctoral contracts and staff recruited in externally funded research projects.
