School of Civil Engineering

This has without doubt been the best possible decision I have made in my academic training. The quality and experience the teachers have, as well as the friendly competitive atmosphere between the students is the perfect combination for consolidating the knowledge we have gained. Also, I must mention the project work since through them one can gain an insight into the problems civil engineering face in their work while developing creative solutions which draw on all the contents in the subjects.

I made the right choice in studying for a Master´s in Civil Engineering at the School. The subjects are approached from a practical point of view and applied by means of specific software. The teachers help you with your academic progress and organise trips, excursions and events! The School of Engineering is remarkably dedicated to us. Also, the city is very friendly and you can get anywhere on foot.

One of the things I love most about the school is the camaradarie and the good atmosphere there is in the classes as there are just a few of us and we all know each other. One of the most important things for me is communication and that is second to none at this school. Communication between staff and students is top quality.

What I love the most about this school is the family atmosphere there is both with professors and classmates and even with those on other courses. I also like the different activities we carry out as on the School Day, the internship trips or exchanges, where the bonds between people become stronger.

The best thing about this degree is the bonds you make with people you did not expect to due to the highly practical work at the School.

What I like most about this degree is the chance to grow in a practical way along with my classmates both in class and with the activities carried out outside the school to apply the theoretical knowledge we have aquired in the degree.

What I love most is the School philosophy. We have bonded with people who have come from outside it. If I have to stress one thing, it would be the trips abroad. We spent a few days in Belgium and it was incredible!

I had the chance to make an Erasmus stay for a whole year in Denmark. It was one of the most enriching experiences I have had at university and it has enabled me to improve my CV and enjoy the experience of living abroad.

My experience with internships at companies has been positive and rewarding. You start to link what you have learnt in class by applying it in projects and works. You learn many things that are not taught in class and it helps you discover what you want to do in the future. I would definitely recommend it.
