Support to practices

T

he Faculty of Communication grants students and PDI the services of lending equipment, computer rooms and access to radio studios and the television set with the technical support of interns and sound and imaging technicians.

The lending equipment service from the Faculty of Communication has as main goal to support, encourage and promote the teaching and learning tasks of students, especially the practical aspect of degrees.

Students have material at their disposal that they can borrow for practices inside and outside the facilities. The loan equipment includes HD video cameras, SLR cameras, professional audio recorders (by line or microphone), and a wide variety of tools and accessories such as tripods, microphones, headphones, storage mediums,…

The television and radio facilities are also available for students outside university hours, both for practices and projects approved by a professor or mentor. The use of facilities will be subjected to the availability of the technician or intern responsible for the use of such facilities.

The hours of loan and return of equipment will be from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 10:00.

These services will be available during the school period. During the exam period, the loan of material will be requested by the professor or mentor responsible for the subject or final project, by email addressed to the dean team of the faculty
